Her favorite foods are sandwiches and anmitsu, and her least favorite food is yellow-tail tuna. Her favorite color is light blue. She likes reading and playing chess. Ami currently lives with her mother, who is a doctor, in a mansion in Minato-ku.

• Mercury star power, make up. - She says this to transform into Sailor Mercury.

• Shabon spray. - This is Sailor Mercury's attack.
• Shabon spray freezing. - This is her powered attack. First appeared in Sailor Moon R episode 53.
• Shine aqua illusion. - This is her new attack. First appeared in Sailor Moon R episode 62.
• Double shabon spray freezing.
• Mercury aqua rhapsody. - This is Super Sailor Mercury's attack. This first appeared in Sailor Moon Supers.
She has only one in the manga:
• Shine snow illusion.
These are some magical items she has/had.
• Transformation Pens - She got one from Luna to transform into Sailor Mercury and then another to transform into Super Sailor Mercury.
• Miniature Super Computer - the computer that Luna gave her so she can do investigation on the enemy.
